About The Wellscene

At The Wellscene we like our sweat with a side of social.

 

We started in 2014 with one dream: to make living a healthy, active lifestyle more sociable. We love yoga and fitness, and were disappointed and uninspired with the lack of social connection during classes. It felt too disconnected, too individualistic. We know that us human beings are happiest when we feel a deep sense of connection to those around us and share common experiences.

 

So we started organising pop-up yoga and fitness events where the social element is just as important as moving and sweating. We move, sweat and connect with those around us. All our events are set at at gorgeous locations around town that invite people to hang around for social hour after class, with new and old friends alike, while we serve post-workout drinks and hand out goodie bags with our favourite healthy treats.

 

It struck a chord with people.

 

Since then we've organised dozens of events. At our much-loved signature yoga event, Flow in the Dark, we turn off the light, crank up the music and team up with our favourite yoga teachers to give our tribe an endorphin boosting feel-good evening (without the hangover the next day).

 

In a world where people seem to live more individualistic lives than ever and everyone seems to be busy or do their own thing, we come together to bond and connect.

 

Don't be a stranger and come hang out with us. If none of your friends can or want to join, don't worry. We're a really friendly bunch and will welcome you with open hearts and arms.

 

We are here make it dead easy to live a healthy lifestyle and have a rich social life at the same time.

LDN || Flow in the Dark - Inversion edition

Come and turn your world upside down on Friday 22 March!

 

We're teaming up with Lululemon Ambassador Chris Magee for a very special Inversion Edition of Flow in the Dark. Chris heads up yoga at Psycle and is known for his strong dynamic vinyasa flow and love for being upside down. If you are an inversion junkie or new to the practice come and join us to turn your world upside down..

As always, hang around for a little while after class, as we'll be treating you to a post-yoga smoothie, Neat Nutrition Protein Shake or cheeky glass of wine or beer (your choice). Just because you want to be healthy and fit, doesn't mean your social life needs to go down the drain!

So get ready for a feel good evening that, by the way, also makes you do good as we'll donate £1 of your ticket to Cool Earth, a non-profit organisation that does incredible work to fight deforestation - one of the leading causes of climate change.

LDN || Flow in the Dark - Vinyasa Flow Fun

Come and join Mariel Witmore for a fun vinyasa Flow in the Dark on 12th April 2019. Don't miss out as this will be our last session at St Martins Lane while they refurbish the space. 

 

We're teaming up with Lululemon Ambassador Mariel Witmore for a very special edition of Flow in the Dark. Mariel has practiced ashtanga and vinyasa flow yoga around the world for over a decade. Through her yoga classes she teaches a dynamic yet playful class that takes you out of your overactive mind and into a meditative flow, combining breath and movement through creative sequencing to the rhythm of fun.
